Snow Procedure & Snow Safety

We are now approaching the season when the weather may affect schools. Certainly Gloucester Road last year without adequate gritting is something that many of us will recall. If the school is closed, listen to Radio Stoke or Signal Radio for news or check the school website www.maryhill-high.co.uk. If we are closed, please listen to either of these radio stations or check the website for confirmation. The stations do not list which schools are open, so if Maryhill High’s name is not read out we are open (please ensure you do not confuse us with the primary school or Berryhill High)

Maryhill High School is a Media Arts College located on the northern fringe of Stoke-on-Trent in Kidsgrove. The School shares a campus with Maryhill Primary School and collaborates with Clough Hall Technology School to provide Kidsgrove Sixth Form.

The School has around 800 students and nearly 100 staff including teachers and support staff.
Central to our high levels of achievement are a positive ethos, good behaviour, hard work and high rates of student participation.
We seek to promote a genuine partnership between home and school, based on mutual trust and respect, and we operate an open-door policy where parents are always welcome.
